Abstract
Throughout autumn 2023, Rosanna Lara and I have been listening together at a distance, within and around the environments we live. The following text is a reflection on listening back to the field recordings I made as part of this process, in my back garden and nearby parks around the south and south west outskirts of London, namely, Bushy Park, Nonsuch Park and Hurst Park by the Thames.
