Abstract
Cathedral is a non-linear audiovisual work, which uses field recording material from Sequoia National Tree Park. Constructed in Max 7, this work is realized using computer vision as a triggering device. The sunlight through the Sequoia trees, captured on HD video triggers the audio material, which is comprised of raw field recordings, vocal improvisations and convolved text-based field recordings.
