Abstract
„Im Vielklang mit der Natur. Auf dem Klangteppich der Wildnis durch die deutschen Nationalparks“ ist ein Musik- und Umweltbildungsprojekt der freischaffenden Künstler Ursula und Frank Wendeberg aus Regensburg.
Ihre Idee ist, „die Natur“ dort rein akustisch einzufangen, wo sie am strengsten geschützt und womöglich am ursprünglichsten ist bzw. werden wird, in den Nationalparks, nach deren Motto „Natur Natur sein lassen“.
Mit den beiden Veranstaltungen „Natur-Klang-Parcours“ und „Viel-Klang-Konzert“ machen sie die Soundscapes der Schutzgebiete, also typische Geräusche, Tierlaute und Landschaftsstimmungen, einer breiten Öffentlichkeit zugänglich.
Sie bieten Teilnehmer*innen und Konzertbesucher*innen die Chance, auf eine besondere Weise mit Natur in Kontakt zu treten – über das Gehör. „Das Auge führt den Menschen in die Welt ein, das Ohr führt die Welt in den Menschen ein“ sagte der Naturforscher und Philosoph Lorenz Oken bereits im 19. Jahrhundert.
Durch bewusstes Hören und Interpretieren von Natur wollen sie Faszination und tieferes Verständnis dafür schenken sowie anregen, sie öfter zu genießen. Das Projekt mag inspirieren, Umwelt in umfassender Hinsicht respektvoll zu behandeln, als Lebensgrundlage für uns alle. Das Handeln in einer Gruppe intensiviert diese Erfahrung und macht Spaß.
Gleichzeitig lernen die Teilnehmenden Deutschlands Nationalparks kennen.
“In tune with nature. On the Soundscape of the Wilderness through the German National Parks" is a music and environmental education project by the freelance artists Ursula and Frank Wendeberg from Regensburg.
Her idea is to capture "nature" purely acoustically where it is or will be most strictly protected and possibly most original, in the national parks, according to their motto "let nature be nature".
With the two events "Nature-Sound-Parcours" and "Many-Sound-Concert" they make the soundscapes of the protected areas, i.e. typical noises, animal sounds and landscape moods, accessible to a broad public.
They offer participants and concertgoers the chance to get in touch with nature in a special way - through hearing. "The eye introduces people to the world, the ear introduces the world to people," said the natural scientist and philosopher Lorenz Oken as early as the 19th century.
By consciously listening to and interpreting nature, they want to give fascination and a deeper understanding of it, as well as encourage people to enjoy it more often. The project may inspire to treat the environment with respect in a comprehensive way, as the basis of life for all of us. Acting in a group intensifies this experience and is fun.
At the same time, the participants get to know Germany's national parks.
