Abstract
“Tones in an open space” is an ongoing improvisatory practice. For these improvisations, I use the organ sound of a Yamaha PSS-380. Its portability, quality, and periodicity of its timbre have allowed me to travel to rural places close to Bogotá, Colombia, 2.600 m above sea level, (where I currently live) to create these sonic offerings inside aural havens not that far from the urban soundscape.

Both tracks are recorded live at 5:45 am

1-tones in an open space: la trocha Finca La Trocha
Guasca, Cundinamarca Colombia
2.710 m above sea level
87 Km from Bogotá D.C.

2-tones in an open space: villa aurita Finca Villa Aurita - Rio Siecha
Anapoima, Cundinamarca Colombia
710 m above sea level
50 Km from Bogotá D.C.
