Walking with no other purpose than recording what happens. Repeating to notice if things have changed, though hopefully some things are the same. Humming to myself the thoughts of the day. Playing back recordings that I’d forgotten but needed to hear to remember how to dance. A synthesizer that travels with me; a music box I keep giving away but end up replacing every other month. What happens in cities made of materials that play with each other. Containers of stories and hopefully voids for possible futures. Walking, sometimes looking for something. Walking, other times thinking about life, especially love. A soundmap of a place that we share and make everyday when we walk. A place made with recordings from other places: Ithaca, New York City, Santa Clarita, Los Angeles and Bogotá D.C.
