Abstract
Nine soundscape compositions created from audio recordings made in 2016 throughout Landmark Center, a historic building in St. Paul, Minnesota. Home to many offices, arts organizations, and a musical instrument museum, the miniature ambient works are part of a permanent installation that is triggered when visitors pass beneath the beam of the speaker placed in the building (thus always heard alongside whatever current ambient sounds there may be). The effect is that of listening through the walls with X-Ray hearing.
